Caregiver Support

Becky Allard, LSW from Senior Community Services hosts a caregiver support group the 2nd Thursday of each month.

 

You may also schedule a one-on-one appointment for personalized support.

HOME Program

Senior Community Services’ HOME Program can assist older adults with housekeeping, minor repair services and painting projects, raking, lawn mowing and snow shoveling.

Help is available for people age 60 and older in Monticello and several surrounding communities.

Free Legal Aid

The Senior Law Project provides free legal services for people age 60 and older.

They can help with include Social Security, family law matters, consumer problems, housing or nursing home issues, Medicare, Power of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Medical Assistance and other public benefits programs.

This service is provided at the Monticello Senior Center on the 4th Monday of each month and appointments are required.

Please note this service does not provide help with wills, criminal matters, real estate transactions, or estate planning.
